1854 Death:2161, p. 59, p. 105. On 16 March 1854 Daniel Houck was appointed administrator and Loyal Wright and James Clutter were appointed executors for the estate of William Wheeler. On the same date, William S. Wheeler, age 15, heir of William Wheeler, had James Clutter appointed as a guardian, with Daniel Houck and Loyal Wright serving as bondsmen. This undoubtedly was the same William Wheeler enumerated at age 10 in the 1850 census enumeration.
Possible Grandchildren:2161, p. 112, 113. On 20 June 1856, Jacob Bowers was appointed guardian for William H. Beard, age 4 years, a legatee of William Wheeler and on 2 September 1856, Jacob B. Fishburn was appointed guardian for Franklin Beard, age 2 years, a legatee of William Wheeler. The relationship is unproven, but it is possible that William H. Beard and Franklin Beard were grandsons of William Wheeler, by a daughter whose name has yet to be discovered.
