1778 Land Purchase:1958 John Stratton of Williamstown in the County of Berkshire, U[nited] States of the Massachusetts Bay in New England purchased land from Ladock Clerk for £230 on 26 December 1778. Stratton purchased a "lot of land lying in the south part of Williamstown joining northern, and by Joseph Crofest, west and by Ichabod Southwick and by Joshua Sand on the west part of said land."
1779 Birth of Daughter Abigail:359, p. 83. Williamstown, Berkshire County, Massachusetts records indicate "Stratton, Abigail, d. John and Mary, Mar. 15, 1779." No other children recorded for John and Mary Stratton.
