Stratton Researcher:361, v. 2, p. 27. "The author found a James Stratton, b. in Ohio (Ashtabula Co.?) abt. 1800; m. Mary Losie in 1827 and d. in Minnesota in 1869, who is thought to be a son of John, son of Ichabod. A family record gives his children: Rowena Charity (b. 1829); m. Richard Shephard, in 1847), Riley, Hiram, Albert, John, Martin, and Emma."

Family Remembrance:2547 James Statton (John, Ichabod, Ichabod, Richard, Samuel, Samuel) was born April 16, 1802 in Vermont, Rutland County, and died March 27, 1870 in Good Thunder, Blue Earth County, Minnesota. He married (1) Nancy Lossee, daughter of Peter Lossee and Nancy McLaughlin. She was born January 1, 1805 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and died February 9, 1838 in Kingsville, Ashtabula County, Ohio. He married (2) Martha Taft May 10, 1838 in Kingsville, Ashtabula County, Ohio. She was born July 15, 1816 in New York and died October 1881.

1) Riley james Stratton, b. 12 February 1827, Kingsville, Ashtabula County, Ohio; d. Fairfield, Clay County, Nebraska.
2) Roena Stratton, b. 24 July 1829; d. 1915.

4) Albert C. Stratton, b. 11 December 1835, Ashtabula County, Ohio.
