His children were Asa, b. 15 July 1744 (called David in baptismal record 22 July 1744); Elihu, b. 25 Feb. 1745-6; John, b. 9 Ap. 1757; Joel, b. 16 Oct. 1758."

Biographical Sketch (1908):361, v. 2, p. 27. "Ichabod Stratton (Ichabod, Richard, Samuel, Samuel) was born, Jan. 11, 1722, in Chelmsford, Mass. He married, first Abigail Church of Hadley, Oct. 8, 1743, second, Hannah Goodman (or Goodnough), July 1, 1755. His name appears on a folio at Bennington dated 1754, but he returned to Hardwick and probably lived there until after 1777 and then settled in Vermont. He was living at Rutland, Vt., in 1790. Children born in Hardwick, Mass."
