1926 Obituary:355 Chris Nuss Dies Suddenly at Troy. Heart Attack Is fatal to Former Pusheta Resident. Chris Nuss, former Pusheta Township farmer, died Monday evening, February 1, 1926 at the home of his son, Andrew Nuss, Troy. Mr. Nuss left the city about six months ago, following the death of his wife, and made his home with his son. He was age 60 years. For several years he suffered from heart trouble. The deceased is well known in Pusheta Township, where he spent practically his entire life. He married Miss Minnie Wehner nearly 40 years ago. Four children were born to the union, all of whom survive: Andrew Nuss, with whom he made his home; Mrs. Loretta Luma; Mrs. Eugene Byrne, Detroit; Mrs. Frank Pholabelm, Lima. Mr. & Mrs. John Wehner of this city and Mrs. & Mrs. George Wehner of St. Marys went to Troy Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held in this city Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Joseph Catholic Church where the deceased was for many years a faithful member. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
