1936 Obituary:2735 Mrs. Fay Klipfel, Resident of Beulah 30 Years, Dies. Mrs. Fay E. Klipfel, a resident of Beulah for the last 30 years, died shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday at Corwin hospital following a 10 weeks' illness. She was 53 years old. Mrs. Klipfel was the third member of her immediate family to be stricken fatally in the last two months. Her mother, Mrs. Phoebe Altman, died Jan. 31 at Portland, Ore., and was buried here. Less than three weeks later her brother, David W. Altman, an employee of the First National Bank for 30 years, succumbed at his home here following a brief illness. Altman's death occurred Feb. 17. Mrs. Klipfel, who was born in Pueblo Feb. 1, 1883, had been seriously ill for more than two months. She was admitted to Corwin hospital here Feb. 10 and at the time of her brother's death her condition was regarded as critical. No hopes had been held for her recovery for the last several days. Death was attributed to a combination of heart and kidney aliments. She is survivied by her husband, Charles T. Klipfel and eight children, Herman Klipfel of 1025 Jackson street; Beverley, Wesley, Emmet, Hugh Lee, Fay and Fern Klipfel and Mrs. Helen Kerr, all of Beulah; a brother, H. B. Altman of Portland, Ore., and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Episcopal church of Beulah. Burial will take place at the Beulah Cemetery.
