1889 Obituary:291 Taylor. At her residence in Uniopolis on Thursday, June 20th, 1889, of dropsy, Mrs. Adaline Taylor, wife of Joseph Taylor, aged 72 years, 1 month and 2 days. Mother Taylor was born in the city of Bonn, Germany. She came with her parents to America when but two years old and resided in Canton, Stark County, Ohio, until she was united in marriage with Joseph Taylor on the 14th day of May, 1835. The union was blessed with eight children, four sons and four daughters, seven of whom are living. She with her husband united with the Lutheran Church in Tuscarawas County, O., in 1842. After moving to Allen County, O., they united with the Methodist Protestant Church, of which she remained a consistent member until her decease. She was a strong believer in the religion of Jesus and a faithful friend of the church. She was a kind and affectionate mother and a friend to all. Funeral services were held at the M. P. Church, conducted by Rev. T. D. Howe. Interment in Tam Cemetery.
