1899 Obituary:3034 Death of John Ramelmeyer. At the late home at No. 305 South Wayne Street, at fifteen minutes past seven o'clock this morning, occured the death of John Ramelmeyer. The deceased was born at Steinback Anbuell Baden, Germany, on the twenty second of November 1846.[sic] He came to country in 1852 and located at Wapakoneta, where he engaged in the butcher business. In 8558 he removed to Dayton and in 1870 came to this city, all the time folowing the same occuaption. For the past few years he had not been actively engaged in any business. He leaves a kind and loving wife, two daughters and two sons to mourn his loss. The funeral services will be held at the St. Paul's Evangelical Portestant Church, on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. The remains will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery.
