1910 Obituary:3031 Long Life is Over. Mrs. Christian Rammelmyer Dies at Her Home Aged Eight-Four Year. Another of the old and highly esteemed residents of this city was taken this morning by death, when Mrs. Christina Rammelmyer died at her home, 305 South Wayne street. The infirmities of advancing years were the cause of her death.Mrs. Rammelmyer was born in Germany, March 26, 1826, being over 84 years of age. She was the widow of John Rammelmyer, who died in February, 1898. For many years Mrs. Rammelmyer had lived in this city. During all her active life, she was an earnest worker in the St. Paul's Evangelical Church. For some time past she has been confined to her home by illness, but bore her afflictions with true Christian fortitude. Deceased is survived by two daughters and three sons. They are, Mrs. John Pfeil, of Sidney, Mrs. Anna Vogt, who lived with her mother <Mr. John Geiser, of Dayton; Frank and William Rammelmyer of this city. The funeral services will be held from St. Paul's Evangelic Church at two o'clock Wednesday, November 23. The Revs. Huffman and Montegomery will officiate. Interment will be made at Forest Hill Cemetery.

1910 Obituary:3032 An Aged Woman Summoned Home. Mrs. Christina Ramelmeyer Dies at Home of Son - Funeral Wednesday. Mrs. Christina Ramlmeyer [sic] died Sunday afternoon at six o'clock at the home of her son, W. H. Ramelmeyer, number 409 south Wayne street. She had been failing in health for some time due to advanced age. For the past four weeks she had been confined to her bed. Mrs. Ramelmeyer's age was 84 years, 4 months, 27 days. She was a native of Germany and lived in this country since she was 12 years of age. The family first lived in Dayton. She was twice married, her first husband being Jacob Geiser. Of this union three children are living, John Geiser, Dayton, Mrs. John Pfeil, Sidney, and Mrs. Anna Vogt, Piqua. Her second husband was John Rammelmeyer, who she married in Wapakoneta 49 years ago. Of this union, there are two sons, Will H. Ramelmeyer and Frank Ramelmeyer. Mr. Ramelmeyer, Sr., died several years ago. She leaves also eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter, who was named for her, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Carl Ramelmeyer. Mrs. Ramelmeyer was a member of St. Paul's German Lutheran Church. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at St. Paul's church, the services being conducted by the Rev. Henry Huebachmann of Cincinnati and the Rev. Dr. John Montgomery of the Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.

1910 Obituary:3033 Ramelmeyer. Mrs. Christena Ramelmeyer, the mother of Mrs. John Pfeil, of this city, died Sunday evening about six o'clock in Piqua of general debility aged about 85 years. She is vurvived by five children, Mrs. John Pfeil, of this city, Mrs. Vogt and W. H. Ramelmeyer of Piqua, John S. Geiser, of Dayton, and Frank Ramelmeyer, of New York City. The deceased was well known and had many friends in this city. The funeral services were held at the St. Paul's Evangenical church at Pique Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
