1819 Death:1954 Given that Adam Patterson married third wife Anne Crow on 24 January 1820, it is assumed that Rebecca Moore Patterson died about 23 June in 1819, the 23rd June date taken from her tombstone and 1819 from working backwards from Adam’s remarriage date.

Joyzelle Morey1954 reports from personal observation that Rebecca Patterson’s tombstone is "obviously too new to have been placed at her grave at the time of her death." It is therefore assumed that the erroneous death date was recorded years after the actual event. Morey further states, "There I saw the grave stone for Rebecca Moore, Adam's 2nd wife. It reads - Rebecca More, wife of Adam Patterson --- died June 23, 1830."
