Family Remembrance:1610 "James Frame married Susanna Bradshaw on 6 March 1809 in Paris, Bourbon Co., Kentucky. Susanna was born on 30 March 1788 in Plumstead, Bucks Co., Pennsylvania, the daughter of William Bradshaw and Mary Shaw. Susanna was previously married to a Mr. Bledsoe. James and Susanna migrated to to Vermillion Co., Illinois. They then went to Montgomery Co., Illinois, moving to Melrose Township, near Quincy, Illinois in 1831, where they located a claim of 160 acres. They sold part of their land in April 1834, and the rest in March of 1836. In 1838 they purchased 10 acres of land from John and Elizabeth Anderson. James and his family was listed in the 1840 Adams Co., Illinois Census. In 1845 they migrated to Iowa County in the Wisconsin Territory, near Yellowstone. James and his family then moved to Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, where they are listed in the 1850 Census. James died on 15 January 1852 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin and Susanna died 16 March 1870 in Wiota, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. 1783 or 1788 Birth:2293,1610 Birth year of 1783 estimated based on age (67 years) in 1850 census enumeration. Other researcher gives birth date as 30 March 1788. Both sources give Pennsylvania as the birth place.
1809 Marriage:2206 On 9 March 1809, Susannah Bradshaw married James Frame in Bourbon County, Kentucky, in a ceremony solemnized by W. Home.
1810 U.S. Census:1480 Susannah enumerated in the household of her husband James Frame in Bourbon County, Kentucky as a female, age 16 to 26; Susannah was about age 22.
1820 U.S. Census:2285 Susannah enumerated in the household of her husband James Frame in Jackson Township, Preble County, Ohio as a female age 25-45; Susannah was about age 32.
1850 U.S. Census:2293 Susannah enumerated in the household of her husband James Frame in Argyle Township, Lafayette County, Wisconsin as a female, age 67, born in Pennsylvania.
