1961 Obituary:302 Mrs. Rose Wehner, Wife of Joseph. Mrs. Rosilla Antonia (Rose) Wehner, 86, wife of Joseph Henry Wehner of 447 Young, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday at Piqua Memorial Hospital where she was admitted Nov. 28. She had been in failing health since suffering a hip fracture seven years ago. Born in Upper Sandusky, May 3, 1875, she was the daughter of Bernard and Anna Slonkowski Kokenge. She attended school in Upper Sandusky and was married to Joseph Henry Wehner Sept. 16, 1902. She had lived in Piqua 50 years and was a member of St. Boniface church and the St. Clara Society of the church. A son, Joseph Edward, died in infancy. The Rev. A. C. Monter will intone the Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Church with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
