Meyers - Joseph Taylor married Adaline Meyers in 1835 in Tuscarawas County. Adaline came to Canton, Stark County from Bonn, Germany, about 1819, where she resided with her parents until her marriage to Joseph. Joseph and Adaline subsequently removed to Auglaize County and resided in Uniopolis, Union Township. Adaline Meyers died in Auglaize County in 1889.

Stamm - Daniel Stamm and his wife Sarah Fromm came to Bethlehem Township, Stark County, Ohio, from Berks and Centre counties in Pennsylvania about 1828. Catherine Stamm, the seventh of their nine children, was born in Ohio. The focus of my research is daughter Lydia Stamm, who married Abraham Taylor in 1851 in Stark County. Another daughter, Sarah Stamm, married Peter Hensel in the same year. Daniel Stamm died in 1866 and is buried in Smoketown Cemetery, Bethlehem Township.
