Weaver Researcher:3044 Please contact Carol Barber at cbarber@brockwaytv.com if you are researching this family. "Oren Weaver, b. 12 Dec 1828, Arkwright Twp, Chautauqua co, NY died 9 Jun 1864. He was a son of Caleb Weaver Jr. and Matilda Matteson. He married Mahala BURGE 10 Jan 1850. Mahala Burge was b. 11 Nov 1832 and died 22 Feb 1912. They had children 1) Julia Matilda (died young); 2) William Arthur Weaver, d. 10 Sept 1855 (small child or infant) and buried in the Abby Cemetery, Arkwright, NY; 3) the third child was Blanche Adelia (called Ida in the 1860 census), b. 2 Sept 1857. She married William Crockett 20 Apr 1879. 4) and a son Arthur Daniel Weaver, b. 25 Aug 1863. I have found Levi Frame and Mahala Burge Weaver in the 1870 census in Pana Twp, Christian Co. Illinois. This census indicates that Levi was 50 years old in 1860 b. Ohio. They had a 1 year old son John, b. in ILL. Also included in that census are Blanche Weaver at age 12 and Arthur Weaver age 7, along with an Anna Lillkamp, age 5 b. ILL. In 1880 they are still in Pana Twp, Christian, ILL. Levi must have died before 1880, because Mahala is alone, 47 years of age, along with children Arthur Weaver age 17, John Frame age 11, Burton Frame age 10, Frank Frame age 6, Jim Frame age 4, and an Effie Brown age 10 "adopted daughter". All the children with the exception of the two Weaver Children were born in Illinois."
