1900 U.S. Census:2895 Della enumerated in the household of her husband Robert Taylor in Uniopolis, Union Township, Ohio as a wife, white, female, born July 1868, age 31, married 9 years, bore 4 children all still living, born in Ohio, father born in Ohio, mother born in Ohio, can read, can write, can speak English. Also enumerated were her children: daughter Liddie A., age 8; daughter Ruth E., age 5; daughter Helen C., age 2; and son Richard A., age 5 months. Brother-in-law Charles Taylor2896 enumerated two household after Robert's household.

1908 Obituary:1121,842, v. 2, p. 422. Mrs. Robert Taylor. Mrs. Robert Taylor, of Uniopolis, died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Joseph McGoff, corner of Benton and Maple streets, in this city, about 5 o’clock Monday afternoon, the cause of death being syncope and heart failure. The funeral services will be held at the church in Uniopolis at 10 o’clock Thursday morning, and interment will be made in the Tam Cemetery.

During Tuesday forenoon Mrs. Taylor come to Wapakoneta on the taxicab, and after attending to some business, visited at the home of Mrs. Perry Focht on South Blackhoof street. Early Tuesday she had done a large washing besides doing some work at the Uniopolis school house, and as a result stated that she felt rather weak. In the afternoon, as her condition had not improved any, she called on a physican and received treatment. Her condition though continued to grow worse, but she came up town to be here on the arrival of the taxicab in order to return home. She was attacked with convulsion though, and was assisted to the McGoff home where death occurred. Two of her relatives preceded her in death as a result of heart failure. Mrs. Robert Taylor was born in Duchouquet Township, December 6, 1869, and when death occurred was 39 years, 5 months, and 23 days of age. Her husband preceded her in death.

Upon the death of both Robert and Della Taylor in 1908, daughter Lydia and son Richard were most likely taken in by Charles Joseph Taylor, the brother of Robert and who lived nearby. Both Lydia and Richard were in Charles'2898 household for the 1910 census enumeration. It is believed that daughters Ruth E. and Helen C. died as young children and are buried in Tam Cemetery,171, v. 2, Book 2, p. 317. Uniopolis, Union Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, with the stone reading: Taylor, H. & E.
