1966 Obituary:839 Mrs. George Wehner Dies at Age 90; Funeral Tuesday. Mrs. Lettie Wehner, age 90, formerly of 117 North Spruce Street, died Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Marys Nursing Home where she had been a patient for several years. She had been in failing health for some time. Born May 3, 1875 in Wapakoneta, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Smith Wiss. On June 5, 1895, she was married to George Wehner, former meat market owner for years in St. Marys. He died April 24, 1955. Among her survivors are a number of nieces and nephews, including, Leo Wiss of R. R. 2, St. Marys, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. George Wiss of this city. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, George, and Ferd Wiss and a sister, Mrs.George Bierlein. Mrs. Wehner was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. A requiem high mass will be offered Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church with Monsignor Henry Ausdenmoore to officiate. Interment will follow in Gethsemane cemetery.
