Notes for Anton MILLER

Genealogical Research:856 "This family was part of a small group of Germans who immigrated from the Electorate of Hesse (also called Kurhessen or Hessen-Kassel), and settled in southern Duchouquet Township in Auglaize County. I don’t have a hometown for the Müllers, but a few of the families from this group that I do have pinpointed were from the Catholic parishes of Flieden and Neuhof, south of the city of Fulda. The Müllers were probably also from that immediate area.

Anton (Anthony) Müller was born circa 1790. His wife was Anna Maria, maiden name still unknown, who was born circa 1783. Anna Maria died Nov. 25, 1861 and her headstone was broken and lying in the old St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta when I did some tombstone readings there about 15 years ago. I can’t say whether the stone is still there or not. I don’t have a death date for Anton, but his estate is on file at the courthouse in Wapakoneta, and from it, I established the following children."
