1969 Obituary:775 Bitler, June 20, 1969: Milo Bitler, 86, 206 Rauthland Avenue, died at 10 a.m. today in Lima St. Rita's Hospital following an extended illness. He had been a patient at the hospital for the past three weeks. Mr. Bitler was a retired sanitarian, retiring after 14 years' service in that capacity. At one time he was safety service director for the city. Born April 3, 1883 in Wapakoneta, he was the son of William and Minnie L. Mott Bitler. In 1907 he married Theresa Chiesa who died March 10, 1935. May 16, 1940 he married Lottie Bush who resides at 206 Rauthland Avenue. Two children and three brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Bitler was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 691 and of the Brand's Lake Fishing Club.
