Biographical Sketch (1981):1417, p. 383. "Abigail Morey, daughter of Joseph, was baptized 2 Feb. 1750 at the Second Church, Preston (Preston Town Records, 7:43). On 2 Feb. 1750/51 (ibid.) "Samuel Morey, son of Joseph and Mary" was baptized at the same church. He has been born 15 Aug. 1750 (Voluntown Vital Records, 1:63). It appears that the year of Abigail’s baptism was expressed Old Style and that the 17 year old Abigail had been baptized at the same time as had her brother."
