Eighteen months after this marriage took place, Abraham Taylor was enumerated in the 1850 census as a grocerykeeper boarding in the household of John Hodges, a physician, in Bolivar, Tuscarawas County. It has not yet been determined by this researcher if the groom Abraham Taylor was an entirely different person than the one covered by this study or if Lovina Clinker died as a newlywed.

There is a Lovina Taylor buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Stark County, Ohio,734, p. 257. whose tombstone indicates death on 24 April 1866 at age 24 years, 3 months, 2 days, as the wife of Griffin Taylor. This Lovina would have been 9 years old in 1849, the date of marriage between Abraham Taylor and Lovina Clinker. The Lovina Taylor in Magnolia Cemetery is not the widow of Abraham Taylor who subsequently married Lydia Stamm.

1900 Death Record:1376 Abraham Taylor; male; date of death, 7 October 1900; age at death, 81 years, 7 months, 10 days; place of death, Cranberry Village; place of birth, Tuscarawas; occupation, merchant; white; cause of death, bladder inflamation; place of residence, Cranberry Village.

Note about Cranberry Village:1690 "It seems back then there were two Rockport's in Ohio. In the Rockport in Allen County there was a small grocery store that was also the post office. Since there was a small creek in the area called Cranberry, Rockport (Allen County) took the name Cranberry Village as it's mailing address to avoid confusion with the other Rockport. Hence, Rockport (Allen County) is also Cranberry Village." Source unknown: "The post office of ‘Cranberry’ was established to serve the inhabitants of Rockport in 1849 with John P. Williams the postmaster, the name having been chosen because there was already a post office named ‘Rockport’ in Cuyahoga County. The Lima Argus of 9/12/1849 mentioned the post office as being discontinued along with that of Cunningham, Cochran’s and Pleasant; however, this must have been in error as it lasted until 1901 when mail was transferred to Beaverdam, and Pleasant’s post office wasn’t discontinued until later, either."
