Co., Pa.; buried in OWC St. Paul's, Union Twp., Sch. Co., Pa. He married Hannah Blew abt 1807. Hannah Blew died aft. 1818. They had the following children: Hannah Bitler was born on 1808, John Bitler.

He also married Anna Reber abt 1823. Anna Reber was born on 27 May 1802; died on 26 Oct 1842; buried in Old White Church. They had the following children: Joshua Bitler was born about 1825; Jerusha (Ruth) Bitler; Jerome Bitler; Edward Bitler was born abt 1830 (lost leg in Civil War); Issac/Israel Bitler was born on 1 Nov 1830 in Union Twp., died on 1 Nov 1893 (never married); Joseph Bitler; Benjamin Bitler; Franklin Bitler; Anna (Dianna) Bitler; Caroline Bitler; Mary Jane Bitler.

1859 Will Written:722 Written on 12 September 1859, the will of Mark Bitler bequeaths his lands and property rights to various of his children and to his "wife Magdalena and Israel Bitler three fields where the house is erected on where I now reside in and low places or fields situated between the roads leading to Mahanoy Station and to Ringtown and all the personal property one horse, three cows, two heiffers, eight hogs, four sheep on ???? ???? and all the household furniture except one bed and bedding which she is to give to Israel Bidler." Benjamin Bitler is instructed to "let my wife Magdalena have all the apples, peaches, and fruit she wants for house use."
