1783 Guardianship Petition:1331 "To the honorable Justices at an Orphan Court held at Reading in and for the County of Berks the 2 day of December 1783. The petition of Elizabeth Bidler, wife of John Bidler, above the age of fourteen years, one of the daughters of Paul Wolff, late of Robeson Township in Berks County, yeoman deceased, humbly shewith that your petitioner’s said father lately died having first in his lifetime rightly and duly made his last will and testament and appointed no guardians therein for the minor children and she is entitled to a share of her said father’s estate, she therefore [is] praying your Honors to permit her to make choice of her husband John Bidler as guardian to take care of the same and she will pray." Signed Elizabeth Bidler Her Mark. The court approved her choice.

1790 Baptism Witness:1447, v. 1, p. 80. On 5 November 1790 Elisabetha Bittler sponsored the baptism of infant Elisabetha Baethmann at Schwarzwald Church, daughter of Thomas Baethmann born 14 July 1790.

1833 Death:2028 In 1874, John Ruppert, husband of daughter of John Wolf Bitler, testified, "The papers were burnt in 1833 or 1834, when the Old woman died."

1833 Old White Church, Ringtown, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania:1446, foreword. "For the years in 1830s and 1840s there are very few gravestones, which however undoubtedly are occupied by graves. It is doubtful however that very many of these graves ever had anything like permanent markers."
