Biographical Sketch (1912):47, v. 2, p. 759-760. "Mrs. Ann E. Frame, widow of Thomas J., dates her birth in 1845, and, like her worthy husband, is a native of Porter County, she being a daughter of James and Nancy Cadwell, pioneer farmers of this county. In the Cadwell family were six children: Orissa, Franklin, William, Luzerne, Newton, and Ann E. Mrs. Frame still lives at the old home, where she is surrounded with the comforts of life, has a large circle of friends, and is happy in the companionship of her children and grandchildren."

1928 Obituary:1079 Mrs. A. E. Frame; Died at Age 82. Ann Eliza Frame, daughter of James Cadwell and Nancy Cadwell, age 82 years, passed away this morning at 6 o’clock at the home of her son James Frame, just across the Porter-Lake County line, in Lake County following a two week illness of heart trouble and old age.
Ann Eliza Cadwell was born in Union township Sept. 15, 1845. She was united in marriage to Thomas James Frame in 1865 and for many years resided in the primitive little home, a one room cabin. Mr. Frame passed away nineteen years ago.
Surviving are three sons, James Frame of Lake County; Burton Frame of Union Township; and Irvin Frame of 404 E. Institute Street this city. Newton Cadwell of Hammond is a brother. There are seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Frame was a member of the Wheeler Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements will be announced in Friday’s paper.
