1927 Obituary:557 Long Period of Invalidism Ends for Mrs. Kuntz. South Blackhoof Street Woman, Aged 70 Years, Passes to Eternal Rest. Mrs. Mary Kuntz, wife of Henry Kuntz, died at her home on south Blackhoof street, Sunday evening, February 6, after an illness extending over a period of 18 years, when she suffered an attack of paralysis which had kept her an invalid every since. The deceased was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. John Ramelmeier, and she was born in Auglaize County on December 6, 1856, and departed this life at the age of 70 years, two months and one day. Shortly after her marriage to Mr. Kuntz, they established their home near this city moving more than 20 years ago to south Blackhoof street where they have continued their residence ever since. To Mr. and Mrs. Kuntz eight children were born all of whom together with the husband and father survive. They are: William Kuntz, residing near this city; Fred Kuntz, Windber, Pennsylvania; Charles Kuntz, Detroit; Mrs. Vincent Logan, Leipsie, and Mrs. Joseph Foltz, Miss Rose Kuntz and Harry and Robert Kuntz of this city. Funeral services will be held at the St. Joseph church of which she was a life member., Wednesday morning, at 9 o’clock with Rev. John Schon conducting. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
