Gray - George Gray and Emily Constant met in England, traveled with their families to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. George's parents John Edward Gray and Eleanor Sophia Fosdick immigrated from England in 1908. Emily Constant and her mother Elizabeth Freeman Constant arrived Quebec on 2 September 1909; George and Emily were married in Victoria on September 9, 1909. Most of the Gray family members remained in Victoria or environs, including Florence Ethel Gray and husband William Tippett, Percy Owen Gray and wife Adela Skelton, Mabel Violet Gray and husband Harry Grist, Lawrence Gilbert Gray and wife Mabel Williams, and Cecil Harold Gray and wife Hazel Whittaker. George Gray and Emily Constant relocated to Southern California by 1921.
