1823-1824 Birth:2376 Birth assumed to be after 1820 census enumeration of her parents William Wheeler and Laura Morey, since the one female child in that enumeration appears to be daughter Savila. Emily was probably the female aged 5-10 in the 1830 census. If so, she would have been born between 1821 and 1825 to fit into that age category. However, brother Horace's birth on 2 December 1821 makes it likely that Emily 's birth occurred during the 1823 or 1824 timeframe.
1830 U.S. Census:2376 Emily probably enumerated in the household of her father William Wheeler in Burlington Township, Licking County, Ohio as a female, age 5 to 10.
