1927 Obituary: 2878Mrs. Angeline Siewell Bitler died Wednesday, July 27, at her home on North Arnold Street at the age of 89 years, four months and three days. She was born March 24, 1838 in Luzerne county, Pennsylvania. August 24, 1857 she was united in marriage to Daniel F. Bitler. To this union ten children were born, nine of whom survive her. Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with elder J. A. Rowe officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant, Isabella County. Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by nine children: John A. Bitler of Harrison; Mary M. Blake of Briceton, Ohio; Kathern [sic] Focht of Wapakoneta, Ohio; Sidney M. Price of Harrison; Elizabeth Rosine of Miami, Florida; William Bitler of Jackson; Jane Hall; J. D. Bitler; Mae Chamberlain of Mt. Pleasant; fifty-one grandchildren, 134 great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.
