IGI extracted marriage records for Putnam County give marriage date as 5 May 1842.

1850 U.S. Census:1770 Tryphena enumerated in the household of her husband James A. Cannady in Perry Township, Noble County, Indiana as a female, age 29, born in Indiana. Children residing in the household were Frances M., a male age 5; Martha Jane, age 3; and Alonzo, age 1. Also residing in the household were Liberty Rich, age 16, the brother of Tryphena, and Eli G. Casper, age 20, a carpenter.
