Family Remembrance:1894 "Margarethe and Michael Lauer (Lower after 1790) moved to Orange Co. Va. about 1790. In 1801 or so, they sold their land there and moved to Montgomery Co. Va. About 1806, Michael sold his land and moved to Clermont Co. Ohio. He probably died there. About 1811 Margaret and her adult children moved to Preble Co. Oh. and about 1819, over into Washington township of Wayne Co. In. They lived sw of the town of Milton. Her stone as well as that of a son, Joseph Lower, is still standing in a cemetery 1 mile sw of Milton. It reads 'Margaret Lower Died November 1836, aged 92 Yrs'." He married Maria Margaret Lerch, daughter of Caspar Lerch and Margaret ——, circa 1765. He lived between 1767 and 1772 in Heidelberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He lived between 1772 and 1785 in Bern Townships, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He lived between 1785 and 1788 in Heidelberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He lived in Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He lived between 1790 and 1802 Orange County, VA. He lived between 1802 and 1806 in Montgomery County, Virginia. He was a pioneeer on the Ten-Mile (Pierce Township, Clermont County, Ohio) soon after 1800, removing at an early day. He lived between 1806 and 1810 in Clermont County, Ohio."
