Biographical Sketch (1985):1513, p. 49. "Little is known about this son of Caspar Lerch. In 1767 he was listed as a single man in the Heidelberg Township tax list. His known children were baptised between 1773 and 1782. Although he is buried at Schwarzwald Church, there is no further evidence of the remainder of his family. His family may have migrated to North Carolina with his sister’s family (the George Freys) and a Jacob Lörch has been found on the tax lists there, possibly his sons, baptized in 1773."
1766 Inheritance:1513, p. 23. Father Caspar Lerch bequeathed to "my son, Jacob Lark, the sum of 25 pounds money as aforesaid to be paid within 7 years as aforesaid."
