Biographical Sketch (1894):1164, p. 265. "On the 25th of September, 1876, William A. Moore was united in marriage with Miss Alice, daughter of the late Alex and Martha Iles, of Bennington Township, Licking County. One child blessed this union, Grace, who resides with her grandparents, and is now (1894) a student in college. In March of 1883, the wife and mother was called from earth. Mr. Moore was again married in June 1885, choosing as his wife Miss Elizabeth Yoakam, an estimable and cultured lady, who was educated in the Homer High School. She is a daughter of M. W. and Esther Yoakam, a prominent family in Burlington Township."
