1932 Biographical Sketch (1832):1372, p. 171. "Abraham’s children were all born before he married Mary Quigley. So far as is known he had no other wives than Barbara and Mary. After Abraham’s death Mary went to live in Trumball County, Ohio. She gave a quit-claim deed to his estate as a resident of that county in 1829.
1631 She evidently did not elect to live with one of her step-children, as there is no record of one of them going to Trumbull County."
1816 Land Owner:42, p. 390. Mary Mosser named as "original proprietor" in 1816 by the Commissioners of Tuscarawas County.
1829 Deed of Sale:1631 On 15 August 1829, Mary Mosser "
of Trumbull County, Ohio" quit-claimed land in Tuscarawas County bordering land owned by John Taylor, Henry Laffer, and John Machin for the sum of thirty dollars.
1830 U.S. Census: A Griscy Quigley was enumerated in Warren Township, Trumbull County, on p. 120 of the 1830 census; actual record not yet examined. [
Question: Could Mary Mosser have remarried to Griscy Quigley between Abraham’s death in 1822 and the 1830 census?]
