Eighteen months after this marriage took place, Abraham Taylor was enumerated in the 1850 census as a grocerykeeper boarding in the household of John Hodges, a physician, in Bolivar, Tuscarawas County. It has not yet been determined by this researcher if the groom Abraham Taylor was an entirely different person than the one covered by this study or if Lovina Clinker died as a newlywed. There is a Lovina Taylor buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Stark County, Ohio,734, p. 257. whose tombstone indicates death on 24 April 1866 at age 24 years, 3 months, 2 days, as the wife of Griffin Taylor. This Lovina would have been 9 years old in 1849, the date of marriage between Abraham Taylor and Lovina Clinker. The Lovina Taylor in Magnolia Cemetery is not the widow of Abraham Taylor who subsequently married Lydia Stamm.
